New Major Motion Picture, EVEN IN DREAMS, Opens in Theaters on Friday, August 6

-First Trailer Debuts Tuesday, May 25 Online at EvenInDreams.com-

Salt Lake City – S&S Productions and VisionScape Studios announced today the release their new major
motion picture – EVEN IN DREAMS – exclusively in theaters on Friday, August 6, 2021. The theatrical
trailer for the film debuts on Tuesday, May 25 at EvenInDreams.com as well as in theatres. Purdie
Distribution is the exclusive distributor for the film.

Written and directed by Savannah Ostler, EVEN IN DREAMS tells the story of Sam (Monica
Moore Smith), a talented young singer grieving the loss of her older sister Amber, who when she died
was a singer in a band of her own. When Sam steps in to her sister’s place in the band, the band decides
to pursue Amber's dream of making it big in the only place that matters: Nashville! Their dreams come
true faster than they expect when they sign with manager Debra (Alison Arngrim – Little House on the
Prairie) who shows them the way to success may come at deep personal cost.

The inspiration behind the film first came to Ostler when she was 14-years-old in junior high. “I
was daydreaming during my math class,” joked Ostler. “I first imagined the story as a novel, the story of
two sisters, their shared dream of becoming famous musicians, and the tragedy that threatens to
destroy the dream.”

While attending East Hollywood High, Ostler adapted the story as a screenplay. After moving to
Los Angeles, Ostler and her producing partner and husband Steven D’Alo received a great deal of
interest in the story, but just like in the film’s story at a cost. “We had a number of producers and
production companies interested in developing EVEN IN DREAMS, but they all wanted to make
substantial changes to the story – changes I couldn’t agree to,” stated Ostler.

A true labor of love, Ostler and D’Alo committed to creating the film as a true independent
feature film. They partnered with executive producers Jacob Joseph and Sessalie Daun as well as
producers Dallas Ashton and Sarah Kent to bring EVEN IN DREAMS to audiences throughout the
Intermountain West and the country.

The film was shot over 15 days last fall in Utah at the height of the pandemic and the stars
aligned perfectly to enable the film’s production. “The support we received from the Utah Film
Commission, the Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG), and Utah’s film production community was truly
astounding,” said Steven D’Alo, the film’s cinematographer.

The cast of EVEN IN DREAMS includes many well-known talent, including Monica Moore Smith
playing the lead character of Sam, Nathan Osmond (playing himself), Adrian R’Mante (The Suite Life of
Zack & Cody) and Alison Arngrim, famous for her role as the original mean girl, Nellie Oleson in Little
House On the Prairie. "I'm so proud to be in such a lovely, positive, family-friendly, uplifting film. All of
the characters are so good and have such positive values,” said Arngrim. “Except for my character, of
course. I'm evil."

EVEN IN DREAMS is projected to receive a PG rating from the MPAA and has been described as
an inspiring, feel good, musically driven family film. “The production of the film really mirrors the
message in the film,” Ostler stated. “It doesn’t matter how long it takes to achieve your dreams as long
as you keep perservering. It took me over a decade to get this film made and I am so thrilled that
audiences will get to see it on the big screen.”
